What the work is for

Point-cloud labels train the perception systems of vehicles and robots, and are used in mapping and surveying.

The work

  • Fit a 3D box tightly around each object and set its orientation.
  • Label individual points by class where the project needs segmentation.
  • Keep each object's identity consistent across a sequence.
  • Check your boxes against the camera view where the project provides one.

What to expect

  • Each project has label definitions, instructions and a 3D tool.
  • Your work is checked against the project's acceptance criteria before it is accepted.

What you bring

  • A computer that runs 3D annotation tools smoothly.
  • A reliable internet connection.

You need

  • Spatial reasoning and patience with dense scenes.
  • Comfortable learning a new tool when a project needs one.
  • 18 years or older.

Good to know

  • An older or low-powered computer may not run the 3D tools smoothly.
  • Work comes project by project, and there can be gaps between projects.
