What the work is for

Robotics and vision-language-action teams use the footage to teach machines how people grasp, place, assemble and use tools. They cannot get this footage any other way.

The work

  • Perform everyday or workplace tasks on camera, from your own point of view.
  • Repeat a task with the variations the protocol asks for.
  • Keep hands, tools and objects in frame throughout.

What to expect

  • You record remotely, in your own home or workplace, not at a studio.
  • Before a project starts, you sign an agreement for it. It sets out how the footage may be used.

You need

  • A setting where you can record the task safely and lawfully.
  • Patience for repetition: the same task, several times, slightly differently.
  • 18 years or older.
