Map your city on the ground: streets, buildings, signs and points of interest, captured along set routes to a written protocol. Maps and navigation models are only as good as what someone checked on site.

In person, in and around New York, not from home. This listing is for English speakers who live there or can travel there.

The work

  • Walk or drive the routes the project specifies and capture every point it asks for.
  • Record positions, photos and attributes in the collection app.
  • Report closed roads, access problems and changes you find on the way.

You need

  • A smartphone with GPS that meets the project's specification.
  • Ability to travel the routes in your city.
  • 18 years or older.

Every application is read by a person on our team, and selected candidates get an answer by email. Your application, and any CV you upload, are deleted no later than 2 years after you apply.
