Radiation Therapist or Dosimetrist: Medical Image Contouring for AI (Remote, EEA)

We are hiring clinicians and planning professionals who routinely contour organs at risk in radiotherapy workflows: medical dosimetrists, treatment planners, RTTs and medical physicists. You contour OARs on head and neck and brain CT and MRI, a radiation oncologist reviews every case, and the contours become the expert reference set used to validate a radiotherapy auto-contouring product. First project: 10 to 40 hours over 2 to 4 weeks, remote, on your own schedule, with further projects for contourers who deliver well.

The work

  • Organs at risk on pseudonymised planning CT, and on MRI where the protocol asks for it; mainly head and neck and brain.
  • Protocol first; where it is silent, Brouwer 2015 for head and neck OARs and the EPTN atlas for brain. TG-263 structure names.
  • Two calibration cases before production. A radiation oncologist reviews every case independently; you correct after review and log any protocol question.
  • Cases come in batches from a small, named panel; volume and turnaround are agreed per project.

Who we are looking for

  • Qualified dosimetrist, treatment planner, RTT or medical physicist who contours OARs as part of clinical work.
  • Head and neck and/or brain planning experience.
  • Any treatment planning system or research contouring tool; onboarding in the project platform is provided.
  • Written English good enough to follow a protocol and log decisions.

How the work runs

  • Fully remote, flexible hours, paid per hour on invoice as an independent contractor. Open to applicants living in the European Economic Area. Specialists outside the EEA: see our worldwide listing.
  • Compensation: typically EUR 25 to 65 per hour, depending on experience, project requirements and scope. Tell us your expected rate when you apply.
  • Confidentiality and project-specific data handling requirements apply, and you sign them before any access.
  • If your employment contract requires approval for outside work, please arrange it before you accept a project.
